The Memorial wrestling team did a 9/11 Tribute Workout on Tuesday that Coach Brent Holtrop hopes will become a tradition at the school.

Wrestlers, and anyone else who wanted to be a part of it, did a grueling workout in honor of the heroes of Sept. 11, 2001. The workout:

*1402-meter run (to honor the lives lost in Tower 1)

*A series of 343 lifts and exercises (to honor the 343 firefighters who gave their lives to serve others on 9/11)
-- 100 deadlifts (done as partners, 50 for each person)
-- 100 power cleans (done as partners, 50 for each person)
-- 100 ground to overhead (done as partners, 50 for each person)
-- 43 burpees for each person

*614-meter run (to honor lives lost in Tower 2)

After it was over, Coach Holtrop posted this on Twitter:

"True #WarriorMentality on display by each and every @2018Memorial Warrior who came out today! Building a tradition in which we #WinTheBattle in honor of those who no longer can! #neverforget @mem_war"
